This Titanium Bezel Soldering Grip designed by Eugenia Chan is lightweight, strong, resistant to high temperature and easy to use. With some practice, you will solder with confidence and joy in this delicate procedure. Link to YouTube tutorial at the bottom.
It works best with a Third Hand Base which is not included in the price, but for demo purposes only.
Mount the Grip to the Third Hand, which holds the Grip securely and leaving your hands free to work with the metal.
Insert the bezel stock, strip or wire with the seam in the middle of the opening, tighten grip with nut. No more struggling with those uncooperative and wiggly bezel wires and o prevent the Bezel ends from slipping, twisting or overlapping when firing.
Flux and solder.
Don't touch the Grip, it is hot!!
It can be air cooled or to speed up the procedure, pick up the whole assembly by the Base and quench into a bowl of cold water.
Loosen the Grip, remove and finish as usual

Thank you for stopping by to take a peek around. While you're here, I invite you to look at some of the pieces I've been working on. You'll find a selection of Mixed Metal Art Jewelry in the way of earrings, pendants, bracelets, and rings.
Additionally, during my creative journey, I've had the support of my husband Rick who, in addition to helping me setup for all the shows, be my driver and my number one fan, he's built my display tables and displays over the years. After many requests where I got my displays, Rick has agreed to make them available for sale right here on my website.
I also carry a small selection of tools designed by Eugenia of Eugenia C Designs and they are available under the "TOOL" section.
Please do not hesitate contacting Debé should you have any questions.
This is a beautiful item! It doesn’t take up too much room. The personal communication was a nice added touch. I like that it is unfinished and allows you to decorate the item however you would like. I used some dark stain on mine. Well-packaged and arrived quickly.
Gorgeous and lightweight- Now one of my favorites in my personal collection!.
Best idea yet...Thanks!! Yeah, it works!!
I love these! Beautifully made and totally portable the way they fit inside each other. Shipping was quick, thank you!

My name is Debé and I'm so happy to see you here.
I design and hand-fabricate unique, one-of-a-kind Mixed Metal Art Jewelry in my little Qualicum Beach Studio.
WHAT IS HAND-FABRICATED?
Handmade jewelry can also mean hand-fabricated, but it can mean some elements are pre-made/manufactured while the finishing work is done by hand. Handmade can mean hand-fabricated but to me, it's not just assembling pre-made pieces, but actually creating the piece starting with sheetmetal and wire. I use hammers, a rolling mill or hydraulic press to add textures and patterns to the metals. All the designs are either hand sawn from the metal or by using a hydraulic press.
Many tools and techniques are utilized before a piece is ready for you to take home to wear or to give as a gift. No two pieces are exactly alike, and I am free to design however I like since I can make whatever I "dream up".
There are no rules around these definitions, and "handmade" is widely used because it's a term most people intuitively understand, whereas hand-fabricated is a little more nuanced. I work with silver, copper, brass, steel and aluminium (which is amazingly lightweight).

DISPLAYS
I couldn't find the jewelry displays I wanted to showcase my jewelry at art shows, so out of necessity, I designed a line of Wood Jewelry Displays. They are handmade by my husband Rick (aka DH for Dear Husband) and available in the SHOP above.
